Can you "save as" a webpage, transfer to the documents folder and then open on the phone? Is there an offline browser for s60 3rd edt?

I am currently printing to PDF and transferring to the phone but that is not a simple as it was with the pocket PC which could open HTML files

thanks

You cna use the browser to open local files (i.e. offline).

Go to the Browser and type in the address with this format: file://localhost/e:/documents/webpage.html

Unfortunately I don't think you can save pages on the phone.

rafe

that work perfectly.

You just save the webpage (I have defaulted to set neames for ease of use) 1.htm, 2.htm etc so I can setup a bookmark to them.

Once the htm file and associated folder are saved on the pc, just copy them to the phone, setup the bookmark (only have to do this once and create a sub folder) and open with

file://localhost/e:/documents/1.htm

pops up the occasional "do you weant to connect Y/N?"
