only network operators have the ability to unlock em, give voda a ring and ask for unlock code, they charge 20GBP, got mine unlocked as soon as i had it and they sent me the code in 5 days!

Hi,

I am having some fun unlocking my N80, so I am hoping someone here can help!

I am on contract in the UK, I have the unlocking code from Vodafone (which they gave me for free!) and have entered it and it stated 'sim restriction off' which I assumed meant I was unlocked.

However... on putting in either of my Vodafone Spain PAYG SIMs, the phone then requests a 'codigo de blokque' which I assume means blocking code 😊

Nothing I seem to enter works and I dont want to enter it more than 10 times as I read this then locks either the sim or the phone.

I have tried 12345 and the PUK but they do not work.

I have tried to re-enter the unlocking code, but the phone will only accept numbers at that point and not alpha-numerics which the code is.

Anyone have a clue? Speaking to Vodafone Spain is driving me mad due to the language barrier!

Thanks!
