Hi

i recently purchased a 2nd hand nokia 7610 phone. it has been working good but since yesterday i cant turn it on???

yesterday i had my phone in my pocket during school like always. then when i got home it was somehow turned off, so i turned it on. however, instead of the nokia logo etc it just showed a white screen. i cant enter my code or do anything because its just a white screen.

can somebody please help me? 😞

thanks

Do a hard format on it, just make sure you don't leave a memory card in there and there is no info on the phone that you want to keep.

The method of performing a hard-format, i.e resetting it completely to factory defaults and removing all data, is as follows:

1. Switch off the phone.
2. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (call answer) button, * button, and '3' button
3. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone
4. When the message 'Formatting' appears on the screen, release all of the buttons

And that's it, the phone should be restored to factory condition and all system files will be rewritten.😊

Well, I haven't tried the format thing but I tried a soft and hard format but the phone still shuts down after a day.

(Assuming the worst case scenario) how much do you think it'll cost me for repairs for the darn thing? Is it worth it?
