Wireless controll of PC

Hey all

I've been wondering if its possible to use the N80 as a WLAN remote control of your PC/Laptop.
Currently i use my laptop as music stereo either with iTunes or WinAmp.
Would be awesome to controll it all around the house with my N80.
Any suggestions?

Found this via another forum: - always good to share though

http://www.sallingsoftware.com/Clicker/

"Salling Clicker is our innovative remote control tool. It offers the ability to control popular applications from mobile phone or handheld computer through a user interface similar to that on a portable media player."

For Mac Users:
Control iTunes, Keynote, PowerPoint, EyeTV, DVD Player, VLC, and more

For Windows Users:
Control iTunes, PowerPoint, Windows Media Player 9/10

There is a trial version - Limited to 30 clicks without activation. *Relaunch program and you're good for another 30 etc etc*
It 4MB in size and you download the software to your pc or mac.

The full version is $23.95

Now whilst it technically doesn't support my N80 (as there is no 3rd Ed .sis Symbian file avail yet) - a scan of the forums

found me:

5th reply down SallingClicker.jar 95.52kb

I have installed the .jar (java file) on my N80 (installs just the same way as a .sis does) and can confirm it works fine (using a mac) *although it did take a few attempts to sync properly* but after that WOW- I have full control of iTunes and also Keynote etc.

Up to yourself if its worth the money - but we can all have a play with it via the trial download and add to the list of clever things we can do with a smartphone that other people or phones can't!

Have fun.
