Just bought a 7650, and will not afford to buy a Ir connection this month..

Anyone know some fun you could do without ir to I have bought it?

Or forget about IR completely, and buy a Bluetooth adaptor. Trust me, it's well worth the extra money, and it's infinitely more extensiable.

Get Bluetooth...

Yes BT is the best, I don't understand why M$ device don't have it. If they would have it, then I would connect my SPV with my 7650 through BT, because I love connections between anything, and anywhere! 😃

I wondered what you were on about then, yes you can change by doing the following:

Menu/Tools/Settings/Phone/Display/Standby Mode/Yes

Also as your new to the phone can I suggest you have a browse through the FAQ (Which was written by the some 😃 GREAT 😃 people from this site), as you will learn lots about your phone and it will avoid repeat questions.

Hmmmm, no not really! I cant be bothered with stereo etc. If I want quality sound....I go for CDs (although I like vynil more) on a HiFi!

Bluetooth and InfraRed are about same in price so you might as well get a Bluetooth usb dongle. Once you get one or the other your'll release the sheer volume of software thats availlble not to mention totally customize your phone by uploading images ringtones and operator logos! . :x-mas:
