Hi everyone,
My flatmate and i have now just ordered 2 black N80's on "3" on their 1000 texts and 300 mins tarif .
Firstly has anyone else got one of these on 3 ? (as i believe they are new to the N80)
Secondly are there any quick wins\recommendations .i.e upgrading software etc. I did read a couple of posts about buying a better battery.
Is it worth unlocking the phone ? ( i did this when i purchased a sony erricsonW800 under vodaphone sim free, and had it changed to a Z800 so i could use my 3 sim , and get rid of the voda crap icons )

nooo, lol 3 is terible, they charge 215GBP to unlock handsets wher as other networks charge only 20GBP, if u dnt want it unlocked then get 1 on 3 and flash it with generic software! i wonder if they disabled the wifi? anybody know? thanx
I have just got the N80 on 3 with the tariff you mention above, so far I am quite impressed with the coverage, got good 3G signal in my area.
Wifi is on the phone, I've not yet jumped onto an open signal yet, just walk about 30 feet from my house and the phone has found wifi signal that's not blocked. I set the phone to check for wifi every 5 mins.
this is crazy that the do phones of the same model, but we have submodels of N80, SE uses the i phone models that has everything of functions, like p910a and p910i
The phone I got was the N80-1, everything works as it should, don't know what the firmware is yet
