does anyone else have this problem?? after using my phone for a week, i encountered this problem, my phone became really slow to send messages. it now takes a minute to send the text message, and its not because of poor reception.
does anyone know what's wrong??
My messages take a fairly long time to send too (20 seconds or so) and if i press the red button to return to the mainscreen and put on the keylock while its sending it puts the msg in draft and doesnt send.. Its not good.
Dont think there is anything you can do about it though, Ive deleted all msgs and power'd the phone off but doesnt speed it up.. ah well
its kinda irritating cuz u can't do anything for about a min after you press send!! :icon13:

Yep, and the sms accelerator is available on the Nokia Support page for N80.
Alternatively, www.mobile9.com also have it. Go try it, should help. my n80 no longer have this prob after installing it.

Have you tried updating the software, mine was the same as you all describe, maybe 60 seconds before you could do anything, well i updated the software only 3 days ago via the Nokia website and now it sends in a second or 2.
Don't forget to back up all your stuff before you do so, i backed up all my sounds, videos and pics but lost loadsa contacts because i thought they were being saved to my SIM but all the time they were going to phone memory. DOH!!!!

Yeah, i was gonna say, i think the sms accelerator is already included within the newer firmware versions.
