Does anyone have problems taking pictures in a dark enviroment like a nightclub? Mine is worthless under these circumstances. The flash seems very weak. It works great in daylight.

N80 Camera Question
well wut i say is that if u want take pics, buy a camera hehehe, well camera its pretty good taking photos, but on video mode OMG it sucks, lots of red dots while taking video, but as i dont use it for taking video, its okay
the video quality is wiked for me and the pictures in the daytime are sweet BUT at nightime turn yr nightmode and flash on and they are aite but they still SUCK bigtime. i was up in the club last nite and tried 2 take pics but had no luck...the pics are visable but still its very very dark. Pictures in the dark with my W900 were MUCH better!
Candlelight shooting mode for camera seems to be ok in dark places, note it switches off the flash, try with theflash on.
As for the video, you can set it to MP4 which is the highest quality on the phone, the sound quality is excellent in MP4 mode.
my 6680 was better at night pics, it had a proper camera flash 😊

If anyone can program the N80 - this is what to do:
1) Make a "cameraprofile" (like Sports, nature, close up etc); "Nightclub".
2) Make "Nightclub" a) higher ISO b) boost the "flash" power.
...if possible.
I would, but have no time for it.
lol, i would need to change the little light called "flash" for a real flash, and that would kill the battery, and ISO well its not so easy
Sorry to dig this thread up but I really think the camera quality in night environment is very poor. A lot of noise. Either in camera or video mode.
I get best photos at night with these settings (in camera mode):
- Shooting mode - User (based on Night Portrait);
- Flash - Red Eye Reduction
- White Balance - Incandescent
- Exposure value - -1.0 or -1.5
- Colour tone - Normal
- Image sharpness - Hard
- Brightness - decreased (1 notch)
- Contrast normal
- Colour saturation - decreased (1 notch)
If anyone got better settings share them in this thread.
As for video I just can't get decent videos at night. Only noise!

I know theres attatchments for some nokias, an extra camera flash? can you get these for n80 yet?
i dont want to mess around with attachments when im out, its already a hassle to change from video to photo, why cant it be like 6680 when you just had to press right and left
