just want to make it straight, some people said reserve about 150 kb in the memory, to let the os running stable, but now, my 7650 was starting to behave strangley.
i have 383 kb lkeft on the phone, afraid that it may crush on me, i tried to delete some games, or log or pictures on my phone , but it refuses and said either "memorry low !!!, delete some data(which is i tried unsucsesfully)" or " memory full"
i'm on 3.12
but it has 383kb left!!!! isn't that sufficient??? :evil:
and now i tried to turn it off , hoping that if i do that , it will clear some space on the memory, and after that the phone on / off button refuses to work, so i forcely tke off the battery, and put it back, the phone start!! but only until he startup screen and showins anothe messages something like app phone failed!!!
before i could do anything it keeps restartig it self without even sucsesfull to make it to the "windos" 😞
tommoroew i need to go to nsc to get it repaired 😞
and losing all my data 😞

it only has 4 MB storage, and when i reserve 383 KB is not enough for the os to perform!!
should i spare 1 MB on the phone ??
so that i only could use 2,something MB on the phone to play with???

and for you all 7650 users, , warning!!! spare 500 KB more space on the phone to keep it survive!!!
or maybe dont put any app on the phone !!! and left the whole memory for the phone' OS to work PROPERLY!!! . :evil:

You should have upgraded your phone earlyer because you knew of the problem.
I have 3.16 and I have went to have about 30kb of mem left, and nothing
has happened. now have about 150kb for a few photos.
But i feel sorry for you to have to be without your 7650 for a while.

Are u sure that something else is not the matter? I'm on 3.12, and have been less than 300 Kb on quite a few occasions, but i never really had a problem (because of the memory). Ofcourse there have been some warning messages..but that's it
Its a different matter that my phone wont restart now, but then.. It had like 800KB at the time it went down

yeah i was going for an upgrade but lazy to go to nsc because i got a very bad experience with the only NSC in my city here in Bandung, Indonesia.
last time my 9110i was repaired there and lost by them!! and the only want to pay half oh the price of the phone , because that time there's already no new 9110i available on sale 😞
so going to NSC is like phobia to me 😞

yeah last time it happen o me a few time s but i always manage to "save " it but now is beyond help I think 😞
maybe the phoe is a little bit too old,:P

my battry is like bended a litlle bit so when i close the cover, it just wont fit as last time , when i purchase the phone, now the cover seems to be very tight!!!

Can you get to the stage where you can do a hard reset?
My friends did the same thing and I had to keep turning off/on about 40-50 times before I could get to the stage where I could type numbers in.
But if you can, then it will save you loads of time rather than waiting and maybe even loosing your phone again (I can't beleive they did that).
Keep trying, you don't have to get onto the Main screen for it to work, but make sure it's plugged into the wall 😉

thx j2theizzo, now i just trying to get it to the stage that it colud be able to delete some stuff, and if it cant, ill try to do hard reset tomorow :P cause now is kinda late here , and gonna sleep soon ,a nywae thx for the tips man .

I have been having that problem latlely. The phone hangs wherein it could only be reset by removing and putting back the battery.
Darn. It seems that some applications do not mesh well with each other. Say a Handy Day and a SeleQ. Maybe they conflict each other. For instance, the autolock featuer of both Handy Day and SeleQ are on, then maybe the other one continues to try to lock it (in the background) but its been locked by the other one.
Do we have any threads regarding this application compatibility issues?
Just a thought, have any of you guys worry that a friend of you might take a picture of you with another woman and send it to your girlfriend (worst, wife)

btw just for info, on the version 3.16, the users memory reserve is less 216 KB than in 3.12.

and this kind of things thats happen tome could happen to anyone on either 3.12 or 3.16.
i just got back my 7650 and now on version 3.16, then i quickly backed all the data on the phone using pc suite, but why the contacts is not there!!!!! the application, ans images and midis are there but why not my contacts!!! can anyone help please ??
