Well i just got a silvershield gps receiver which apparently is specifically for tomtom/nokia, and have TomTom on my N70.....I have been testing it on and off all day. I have also put a high speed memory card (1gb) in.
It has dropped out about 4 or 5 times but at no point have i had to reboot the phone...A couple of times it found the gps again on its own and the rest i just went into tomtom "show gps status" settings...Once in it picked up within a few seconds......The receiver only cost me about �30 inc delivery so im well happy.
If i get any real probs will post and keep everyone updated but so far so good.

But TomTom *comes* with a GPS. Are you saying you're publically admitting using a pirated version of the software?

LoL....Not at all.....I just heard so many negative reports about the TOMTOM gps receiver i decided to purchase a different one...which is still working great with only the occasional drop out but still not had to reboot the phone yet.
Its never worth using pirated software coz 9 times out of ten it does more harm than good, and you cant get the best use out of it, or the proper updates.

The TomTom GPS has a fabulous reputation. And I swear by mine. Just so we can rule out the GPS, what happens then when you use TomTom MOBILE 5 with your genuine TomTom GPS?
