Connecting 9210 direct to a telephone socket

Is it possible to connect a 9210 to a land line telephone socket using a cable or some other magical device?

I want to be able to some e-mail in an area where there is no mobile phone signal, but there are telephone sockets I could plug in to.

Thanks.

You may find this to be useful ( http//www.psiloc.com/nokia/eng/internet/index.html ), but you'll need a modem with an infra red port.

It's a shame that there's no built-in option on the 9210 to use a default modem on the serial port since I still have a registered version of PassThru which I used with my Psion.

Maybe PsiLoc could do something like that?
