Hello
I ahve had my Nokia 6600 for nearly 2.5 years. This week I bought the newly issued GARMIN NUVI 360 GPS which incorporates Bluetooth. I connected my wife's Samsung D600 and all worked fine - I could dial and end calls from the GPS module through Bluetooth pairing and also can hear the voice and reply through the GPS module.
However when I connected the NOKIA 6600 I managed to do the pairing correctly. I can dial and end calls from the GPS module but I cannot hear the person speaking through the GPS (this is only heard from the mobile) and also I am not heard if I speak through my GPS module.
When I pair the Bluetooth on Nokia 6600, the Black Bluetooth dot appears on the screen and also a headset appears. Also when I go to connectivity this is blank - do not know if this is normal.
The difference between the Samsung D600 and Nokia 6600 is that one uses Bluetooth v1.2 and Nokia uses V1.1 which up to my knowledege the issues here are stability and stereo sound. Gps is either v1.2 or v2.
Can someone please help me with this problem!!!
Also is there a way how I could perhaps upgrade my bluetooth version on the Nokia 6600 to v1.2.
Regards
Joe
