N8 Sending a photo as an MMS?

When I take a great photo of my son I like to send a copy to his Mum and both the Graaies. To do this currently I have to make a copy of the photo (copy to phone), I then shrink the copy I made and send the copy.

Is this the only way of doing this? My Sony Ericsson W800 use to do all of this automatically if I try to send a large picture?

cash: when I do that I get an error saying the "unable to insert all objects. Maximum size is 100kb.

mine reduces the image down to about 8k, I dont get an error

what firmware do you have ?

hi, firmware is the .06

The photos are originally taken at the higher res.

got it fixed. in the message menu settings, then the multimedia sub menu you can set the image size, small, large or original. large does the job just fine.
