Krusell Leather Case for E61

My advice is not to bother with this case - the one which zips round the edge. It's a very well fitting nice and tight case which makes the unit feel well protected (and I have been a fan of these cases with other S60 SmartPhones) but unfortunately this one seriously impedes the uses of the keyboard. It's hard enough to not press two keys with a fat thumb as it is, but the clear plastic across the face of the thumb board just makes sure that you do so most of the time. Shame.

I've just recieved a case from Noreve (affiliate link). They have two different types of cases for the E61. First impressions are very good, but I will report in more detail in a review in due course. The nice thing about the cases compared to other ones is they leave the keyboard free (and in the flip case) the screen is not covered either. Very nice quality too.

I am quite happy with the Krussel case, as I wear the phone attached to a string around my neck.

I appreciate the extra protection by the plastic, but I DO dislike the impact on screen quality and key feedback.

Well for me, I'm using the standard HP iPaq 4150 pouch. It fits perfectly with my E61 and I prefer this "slot in" kind of pouch.

This is just a personall taste.

Photos attached =) and damn the photos turned out very “professionally” done hehehe…

I got this one from ebay, I didin't receive it yet so I can't tell you how it is exactly. But I really like the Noreve one, I should have seen it before ordering this one.

Rafe, the Noreve one, when you put stuff in the pouch don't they fall? Like when you put a memory card or some paper.

It seems to be quite a firm fit, so I don't think stuff will fall out. I haven't had it very long so more than that I can't comment. No problems so far anyway!

Just to say, I quite like the Krusell case - the clear plastic obviously makes the keyboard a bit more difficult to use when out and about but you can't beat it for protection or mimimal size impact.
Still be interested about other people's case reviews though.

Ignition 101 - I'm probably not typical, but because they are custom made it's normally about 10 days.
