It seems that DVB-H digital TV is still some way off yet, dashing hopes that (for example) the Nokia N92 might arrive late summer. Nokia has announced yet another trial, this time in Sweden, in the last quarter of 2006. We're guessing that implementing country-wide DVB-H isn't as straightforward as we first thought. I think the N92 was always going to be a used for trialing Mobile TV technology much as the Nokia 7700 was test bed device. It has some serious keypad usability issues if your using it for phone use.
That said DVB-H doesn't seem to be happening as fast as some people thought it might.
I've heard some people say there are frequency issues, some countries have the frequencies spare for DVB-H and others don't, apparently because they're still waiting to switch their normal analogue TV systems off.
Rafe, have you tried N92 personally? I think the keypad is great, it works in both orientations that's the coolest thing. Browsing etc. is great with landscape mode, something that's not so useful in N93.
