I have just got an N80 on '3' however the signal at work keeps switching between GSM and 3G so I miss calls.
I am thinking of taking it back (within the 14 days) are there any pifalls I should worry about in returning the phone and cancelling the contract.
Are there similar problems on any of the other networks
Thanks
'3' are excellent when it comes to returning your phone within the 14 days. I'm on my 3rd phone so I should know. I've settled with the N80 after some problems with a 6280 and a refurb N70. I also like the priceplan I am on so that's why I kept with it. They will, without question, send you a special delivery bag and you just collect all the stuff together and post it back. You must remember to include the return form with the returns number they give you. You will eventually get a final bill for what you have used. They do advise also that you cancel your standaing order as soon as you have posted the phone.
Check coverage in your area on the three.co.uk website. It could be that they are planning better cover later this year. It would be a shame if you are otherwise happy with the service and phone.
However should you just be unlucky in the area you live then it's not much use if you cannot use all of the features.
The problem appears localised to the Business park, a hundred yards or so either side is OK.
I know that when our company moved in three years ago orange and vodaphone the two providers we use did something to improve their signals in the building.
Would I have to post it back or can I return it to the '3' shop where I purchased it from?
Thanks

u can return it to the shop, if u wana keep it id recomend u do a software update with the generic firmware so u can use GSM only instead of the 3G network, this does however disable the vid calling coz u will b using a 2G network! this way ur prob will b solved!
