I remember using a program called QEMM memory manager. It was n the old 386 days and that program saved my life more than once.
I wonder if anyone is developing a memory manager for the 7650.

QEMM was an extended memory manager, to allow a PC running DOS to access memory about 640K. What we need is a app like RamDoubler which is quite similar to the wondeful sDoubler but it worked in real time, compressing not the files (bear in mind the files here are on a hard drive) but the ram itself, allowing more apps to run.
An app like that for the 7650 would need to run at a very low level but if sucessful would remove the need to compress/decompress apps each time they are run, it would also effectlvley compress the contacts database, java apps (...yes I know) and everything else on the phone. There would be a performance overhead though.
Never a free lunch.
