Guys,

I've put some songs on a 2gb memory card, but can't seem to get them onto the media library. I've tried the 'update library' command a few times. The first time it was taking forever, so I cancelled it, turned out it found 14 songs of about 300. Trying again now just makes it crash or something. What's going on?

Once I've got this sorted, if I were to use a bluetooth headset or similar, would I be able to listen to music wirelessly?

What firmware is on your N80, ther were problems with memory and memory cards with the old firmware, this may be your problem

rm-92
nokia n80 (42.02)

just remembered another question... tried to connect it to my pc, very hard to make it stay connected - anyone else had this problem?

Ok you have the latest software, although there is talk of another update, but I dont think anybody tried it yet, I only had problems connecting to some wifi hotspots, I founf that if the signal strength was below 35% then the connection was intermittent, do you mean with the usb cable ?

Make sure the connector into your phone is pushed in ok, sometimes when I move my phone when its connected it breaks the connection, so I never move it once connected to PC unless I need to

Not sure about your problems with your music, maybe a bad memory card, do you have a spare you could try ?

not had that problem but make sure you have the new version of PC suite; i had no end of problems transfering music with the old software. I would also convert to M4A; I haven't had a problem since I set it to auto convert

Well I've made it work.

I wiped the memory card clean, and added the songs on in chunks, checking it added them to the library every 50 songs or so. And now it works... Weird, huh?

The speaker on this phone is a huge improvement on my old k750i...
