Well there are somes things that u can change from ur phone settings, like voice calling name etc, READ the USER GUIDE and u will find the answer. May the Userguide Be with u

Now that you've had the phone a couple of weeks I'd suggest you read through the User Guide and fine tune the phone how you want it. Personally when I get a new device (phone, gadget, etc) I always work gradually through the menus with the user guide over the first week or so to set things the way I like them. Then I work back through later on to fine tune.

Regarding the 1st point above, I responded within that thread, but I will add it here as well:

Or another third-party solution... both HandyClock and HandyWeather come with screensavers.... the Weather one is amazing (show's you every possible status in addition to todays and tomorrows' weather). Anyway, you can set in the preferences of either application when to auto-lock the keypad if you have their screensaver assigned.

I already love the HandyWeather app, and when you add the auto-keylock it increases the value even further.

Regarding your 2nd point, at least on the E61, you can create an Access Point Group (is this possible on the N80?) which you can add, in priority order, WiFi and GPRS access points, etc. So, when I launch my browser, I still unfortunately have it prompt me for which access point, but I can at least choose the Access Point group in that list. Personally, I feel the true shortcoming is the inability to not choose Access Point Groups in EVERY application that lets you choose an Access Point. It seems only available in Messaging.

Regarding your 3rd point, if you open the Log application directly (NOT using the Call button), you're taken to a more top level menu, of which the 2nd tab (push right) shows ALL of your phone's activity in one list. However, in addition to calls, it does show access point usage. So, while you get your missed, received, dialed in one list as you've asked, you also get a bit more.

No. Actually, in the contacts, we're able to add a "birthdate" field. I'd like this birthdate to be added automatically into the N80 agenda (I'm not using Outlook nor synchronizing anything yet. Moreover, the Thunderbird contacts management is terrible). Because otherwise, I just don't see the point of this birthdate field. I might be doing wrong, but once more I can't check in the UG (is it possible to DL it somewhere?)

Well, I'm not sure Access Point Group exist on the N80 (I didn't find any), but as you guys might have noticed, I'm not exactly a specialist 😃

I think once I found an "automatic connection" feature somewhere (and I remember I disabled it), but I'm not able to find it anymore. The ability to add an automatic or ask connection according to the type of connection (wifi/umts) would be really cool.

there is a program here that allows you to choose a key to quicklock the keyboard, I use the left soft key

I also suggest aswell as reading the manual to search this forum completely for answers to your questions first because you can bet most of them have already been answered..
