Nokia has giveup

Hai everyone,

i had a serrious display problem on my N6600. When i turned on the phone, the screen already blank, but the (back)light on the screen is on. Then, the network-found tune heard. Finally, the call function is running (i can make call), mms/sms in will be received, the camera works (i test by following the menu and taking a shot than the 'take' tune heard).. ALL IN BLANK LCD! When i plug the charger cord (phone is turned-off), the display and keypad's light turned on in full bright like the phone is turned on (usualy when charging in off position, the display light is soft or dreary, right?).
I've tried to take it to several Nokia Service Center, they giveup and recomend me to change the main machine with 80% brand new price. My questions are?
1. what kind of error is that (software or hardware)?
2. which parts or softwares are damaged?
3. what caused it?
4. can u tell me how to fix it?
Thank you very much.

Regard,
Jemmy

sounds like a broken screen... if you no longer have warranty, throw the phone out of the window and buy another one, because replacing the screen will cost you more or less as much as a new phone.
