map application for n80

Is there an application that can store maps etc on the phone and allow some of the functions of gps ie postcode/place name search and give directions WITHOUT using gps (i'd buy a seperate gps system if i wanted that) and that does NOT require you to download map data over 3g or gprs like googlemaps does?

Any ideas?

Full map software for london area available, and helsinki....

but i cant find one for the rest of UK... Grrrrr
Might be worth purchasing one of the 3 or 4 GPS softwares available for n80.... because even without the bluetooth GPS hardware, you can still browse and search the maps... (Full maps of UK / USA etc)

Most of the GPS mapping program work fine for doing searches without a GPS. There's also a program called ViewRanger for the UK (aimed at walkers and cyclists).

Really? So are you saying that if I install TT Mob 5 it'll work, but just not with the GPS? I've had the software since my old phone, but never bothered to install it on the N80 because I understood it wouldn't work.

Could be just what I need for my vacation!

Tom Tom wont work with the N80 because it is not 3rd Edition compatiable. What I was saying is that most of these programs don't need a GPS unless you want to track your route.
