So I am absolutely clueless as to setting up my wifi at this point ...

I went in, set up an access point with all the right info ...
Then I go to the web browser, and it says no homepage defined, I click yes .. choose WLAN, choose my network, and then it goes back to the menu page ...
What am I doing wrong .. PLEASE HELP

I'm not sure whats happening (I don't quite follow your description).

It might be worth setting a home page for the access point you've made. However I don't think you have set an access point because if you are choosing WLAN (Easy WLAN) then its not an access point. You can set up an access point in the Settings application (under Connections).

If you are saying it goes back to the menu page for web then just enter a url and away you go.

If it going back to the application view / menu then it sounds like Web is crashing. Does this happen when you use your GPRS access point?
