Installing Themes

I searched but couldn't figure out how I put themes onto my phone
I am connected to my phone but dont know what folder they go in ...
I am on OS X

You need to send the .sis file to your phone. You can can do this by plugging in the USB cable and choosing mass storage mode (the phone appears as a USB drive), copy files across manually. Once you've done this you open the file on the phone (use File Manager application on the phone) and the installation will start.

Alternatively you can send the file via Bluetooth to your phone and open it from the Messaging application (once again installation starts automatically).

Once installed you need to select the Theme in the Themes application.

Dont forget to set your certification settings:
Menu > Tools > App. Mgr. > Options > Settings > Software Installation > set to "All"
Menu > Tools > App. Mgr. > Options > Settings > Online certif. check > set to "Off"

ok so,
If I send the .sis file to my phone ... what folder do I put it in ?

And if I were to put it in a new folder that I name "themes" how do I then install it in the application manager? I dont see anything that says install apps.

Sorry if this is a dumb ? ...

Thanks for the quick tip. Mine arrives on Monday and I can't wait.

So I put the theme on my phone, went to install and it says
certificate may not be valid , etc etc
Any ideas ?

It doesn't matter which folder you put in. The root is probably the easiest place to find it again.

You need to make sure you are installing a compatiable theme. You need themes that are for S60 3rd Edition.
