Nokia PC suite Backup

I have just tried to backup the data on my N80 to PC using USB cable but it seems only to backup 73% of data. Contacts backed up to memory card are incomplete.

Any Ideas?

Connect your phone to PC via USB cable as if you were going to transfer data.
Then go to windows explorer and scroll down on the left and yor phone will be there and you can copy contacts to your pc from there.

If I backup all that data from the memory card, not just the contacts, format the memory card and then copy the data back to the memory card will it work okay, rather than using PC suite backup and restore?

Yea it will thats wat i do. I never used the pc suite backup or restore.

The new Nokia PCSuite isnt that good I think.

There used to be an option to just back up numbers.. or whatever you wanted.
Now you have to back up everything and I get a message thats comes up and says that Contacts may not work in other models.

Anyone else get that?

I only really want to back up my numbers.. Is pcsuite reliable for this? Do I need to have outlook installed on the computer for it?
