Hi,
I am having a problem with Nokia 9500.
We have a lots of people using this device for work, and many of them have this problem.
When we start the Nokia without the phone option, it works fine, but once the phone is activated we have this error:
Program Closed
Program: Cuicoverui101f8ddf
Reason Code: User
Reason Number: 11
and then the phone freezes, I have to take the battery out to start it again.
I dont know if u will need more details, but i have tried several things and still is not working.

I'm no code expert but I did do a little Googling and found some other forums talking about this and their thread ending advice was to Hard Reset as it was 'obvious that some initialisation files had been corrupted'. At least I think that's what it said after translating from Spanish! Have you upgraded the firmware to 5.22?

Hi Tim and Kamal,
I know that this is an old issue but I just want to request for an update. I have never experienced the problem though I immediately upgrade my firmware every time an updated one arrives. Also, my 4.44(1) firmware only lasted for a couple of months before I upgraded it.
Please confirm if the issue has been addressed by a firmware upgrade.

Sorry - can't say - I sent my 9500 off for upgrade to 6.27 and the NSC completely buggered it - they said this sometimes happens - rendered useless - couldn't be flashed back to the old firmware - out of guarantee. I was amazed to get over £40 on ebay for it for 'spared/repairs' !

That's too bad. But at least you have recovered some of your investments 😉 You might as well wait for the E90 Communicator 😊
