in dual mode network, does it usually change 3g to signal symbol vice versa in standy mode?

Not quite sure what you mean. The phone will use 3G if it available, otherwise it will use 2G (GSM).

Or, for data, "2.5G" (GPRS), or "2.75G" (EDGE).

in stanby mode upper left corner, in dual mode network did your n80 signal changes to 3g symbol and antenna symbol vice versa? or its 3g symbol always?

lol, this is kinda weird question, anyways if 3g avaible it will show 3g otherwise antenna icon will b shown
