Can a RS DV MMC be partioned?

Hi guys.

im a N70 user. im planning to purchase a 1gb RS dv mmc. They say that it is a bit slower to access a 1gb than 512mb card..is this true?:con? can i partition the MMC? how?

From what I heard, stay away from a Kingston. And yes, 1GB DV RSMMC cards tend to be slower. Not sure if you can partition them though, if it was possible it could confuse the phone as it only has one card holder.
