Hi All - I installed 'Mail for Exchange' on my E61.
The problem with it is, that it works randomly. Sometimes it syncs, sometimes it doesnt with the status showing as ' Connecting' for ages..the only way out being a hard boot of the handset....I connect to a Exchange Server 2003...
I am on Vodafone UK here...Please let me know if you have any hints...thanks

Are you using it on Wifi, 3G or just regular GPRS?
Also, are you using the latest version .13 from the website?
Mine on my E70 is working like a champ.

(also, is your Exchange Server on the latest service pack?)
Thanks P for replying.
I am using an access point called 'Contract Internet". I am not sure if its 3G or GPRS. How does one find that out? (Should that make a difference - as whatever its using, it does connect sometimes, the issue is that 8 out o 10 times it doesnt!!)
Yes, I have the latest version 1.2.13 from the nokia website.
EXchange Server has the latest service pack.

Hmm, when connected to the Internet, up on the Active Standby screen if it is a 3G data connection, you should see a little 3G icon up there. If not, it's probably EDGE or GPRS.
As to why its not holding the connection, I'm not sure... what I'd suggest though as a test, is to go and try Wifi based connectivity and see if that fixes the problem. It will help eliminate whether it is the network or perhaps something at your network level near the exchange server (such as firewall problems etc).
