When I recieve an (Blackberry) email, I get the tone and LED notification. But the flashing LED only flashes for a few minutes or so, when I selected 2 hours.
Anyone else having the same issue or have a fix for this? Please?
E61 email LED notification problem
do u install auto keylock? if yes normal mine also same. if auto keylock time-up then the LED will stop flashing.

sorry i think got another issue, maybe u can get max 30mins for e-mail LED flashing. Tools -> Settings -> Phone -> Display -> "Power Saver time-out" , this feature can't turn off, so max is 30mins.

Nope has nothing to do with it. It is a firmware issue. I wen to replace my phone today but the new one had the same issue.
replaced new phone, what is the firmware now?
I have noticed the same problem. I set my LED to stay on for 30 minutes after receiving an emai, in case it's in my pocket at the time, but it only flashes for a couple of times and then goes out. I have to rely upon the message on the screen to let me know new email has arrived.
i also don't know about this phone, after i format it, then tried to check whether the LED will flashing 2 hours, if i set it 2 flash for 2 hours.
funny, it flashing 2 hours i tried many times, now working no problem.
Mine started to work at 0200 this morning. I was woken by a flashing light in the dark. Woke to find my phone on the other side of the room lighting up the bedroom every so many seconds.
Grrrr...
Doing own thing making e61 not go down. Should be appication is worst to begin with starting to go dark.

I had this problem along with some mailbox problems. I have formatted my device, and the LED now flashes for the time I set it to.

For some reason my E61 has now reverted to flashing the LED for 2 mins regardless of the time I set 😞
Does anyone know if this is addressed in the update?
