I have altered this thread because in my frustration I said that Nokia forums censor and delete posts, this is the case but they delete posts which they only see as unhelpfull or confrontational or inflamatory, or posts that are using bad oe unacceptable language.
UK Nokia forum
That's not great to here. I haven't seen any evidence of it myself, but then I don't really check in there much. I can understand a desire to control and keep it clean, but if you're not being rude and posting experiences (which I would assume you are having read your excellent posts here) I don't think stuff should be removed.
Rest assured the only posts that get removed here are the spam ones or the illegal ones (and these are usually edited to remove the offending link/item).

a couple of edits were because of "bad language (with asterix so not really that bad)" which I can understand  , but everything I post there is based on my experience as an N80 user and my experiences with previous phones and situations, as are my posts here, and mosts posts I make are intended to try help people, and of course vent a little frustration.
They also tend to shut threads down when Nokia deem them to be "not helpfull" to the forum users, again quite suspect after reading some of the closed down posts, I think its a sort of damage limitation excercise for them.
Anyway this is a much more helpfull and friendly forum and I am happy to be here.
And thanks for the positive feedback about my posts Rafe 😊..much appreciated
somebody has started a petition over on the nokia.co.uk forum for nokia to do something about the battery, I suggested we email Nokia when the patition has a significant amount of signatures
Would be nice if anybody from this forum with battery problems (or even without as a sign of solidarity) to pop over there and add your signature via a reply post

They also shut a thread which was discussing N80 FW releases and changes from one version to next. Apparently Nokia believe only their trained engineers should have that kind of information...
