All-in-one mobile app for Nokia! Love my Nokia.....but I need more features!

I just love Nokia!

NOKIA has the most user-friendly user interfaces around. I guess thats why so many people are still using them even though theyre generally slower and less stable than before. Only problem I faced was that my Nokia didnt provide me with enough data features and services for professionals. All around me, my boss, colleagues, business acquaintances are whipping out their HP, Treos, Communicators, Blackberrys. :argh: seems its about time I upgrade to those bulky devices, but I just love my Nokia. I dont want to use a bulky device like the Blackberry, or Treo (what kind of girl wants a mobile device bigger than her handbag?)

Our lives are slowly revolving around the mobile phone now, instead of the computer. Morange makes my Nokia so powerful so that I can send email; chat on MSN, GoogleTalk; see friends on their webcams; access files stored on my computer at work; get auto blog updates, all from my mobile phone no matter where I am. You gotta love this kind of automatic functionality on the mobile phone. All I need, I figure, is a combination of my funky Nokia and my trusty Apple iPod.stylishness + operational functionality only requires 1 thumb to use, and yet have my whole world at my fingertips, offering me all the services I need. Well, 1 fingertip especially if Im traveling on the bus or train

So, I went google-ingand found this mobile Java app called MORANGE (www.morange.com). Im totally impressed with it. The developers apparently share my one-thumb concept and are offering this magically, all-in-one, integrated mobile solution totally FREE! 😃 Morange can be installed on most Nokia devices (must be java MIDP2.0 supported, so they say. I only have 1 Nokia 6680 to try it on. If you have other Nokia models, test it out and let me know what the morange experience is like!)

-push email so I can look really hardworking to my superiors. Im reading and sending my emails at all hours! Even when Im really not in the office. :P

-remote access to my computer so I never have to panic when I forget to email a quotation to an impt client and have already stepped out of the office.

-mobile access to surveillance cameras so I can see whats going on in the retail outlets without actually having to be there

-PIM mobile sync so I dont have to wait till I get back to the office to check my schedule, or my contact book. Morange claims that it can automatically sync any changes made between the mobile phone and my Outlook (and vice versa) within 1 minute. I dont know, I havent tried that yetIm too busy reading my RSS entertainment updates. Heh heh.

Ive tried the morange Desktop client as well. Its the link that keeps the synchronization between the phone and computer. Its not bad! Also provides an IM feature between fellow morangers whether theyre on the mobile phone or also on the desktop.

You gotta visit the webportal www.morange.com to register for an account. Then they allow you to download the mobile and desktop clients. Its quite easy to configure all my settings and preferences!

I only wish they provided some skins..

Thanks for this.

Really nice software! Can be used on almost anything. :icon14:

Will give my judgement.
