I read on here about how to turn off the wireless and it said to enter the tools - settings - etc etc but when I go into tools and click on settings wizard nothing happens. I've read the help and it just says whats in the settings but doesn't say what to do if you can't get in there.
Appart from not being able to turn wireless off and this settings problem I must say the N80 is a fantastic phone!! The screen is soooooooo clear!!

Maybe a firmware issue, what firmware do you have ?
How would I know?
The phones on the 3 network and I got it yesturday so I'm very new to it 😊

and it will give you details, but I would think you will have latest 3 firmware
Other thing you could try is a reset and see if that cures it

You have latest firmware,
yes you will loose everything, do you have a mem card to back up your pics ??
Try soft reset first *#7370# it may keep everything
you can hard reset the phone using the following code:
*#7380#
Hmm i think I might leave it for now as I don't want to enter all my numbers and that again!

Not sure, they would probably tell you to take it to a nokia service center.
You don't need settings Wizard. All it does is set the operator settings for your phone. It automatically detects what network you are on then just sets up MMS , internet etc. As you are on 3 ans the settings are already in your phone you don't need it, if you change to a generic firmware it will work but as 3 phones are locked then theres no need.

Yea it depends on whether the provider has already put the settings preset on the SIM or not.
The settings wizard however is handy for configuring mailboxes on your phone. But if your mail service is not listed then it is kinda useless. It was very easy setting up my Gmail account with it.
