Hi,
Can't relly prove it yet, but I seem to notice that when I remove games/apps off the phone, I never seem to get back the full amount of memory that they were using up. Is it possible that apps etc leave temporary files or bits of code that take up useless space, and can safely be removed?
Does anyone know of any folders containing useless files that can be deleted? Just trying to get back as much memory as possible.
Anyone else notice losing space after uninstalling programs?
yea I also noticed, installed few games and then removed it and then noticed that I dident get the full memory which I had before installing the games...... 😞
Is there any way i can get that memory back??
Yeah, that is true, some programs like to leave some files behind.
Games leave saves/hiscore tables and apps leave setting files.
But generally those are really small.
Of course you can try to delete those files with some file manager,
but you can *REALLY* mess up your phone if you dont know what you
are doing !!! I will not be responsible if you really do something 😃
I personally have not bothered to delete any of those obvious files
because those really dont take any real amount of space.
You can reset your phone to the state it was when bought, if the files
really bother you :-? read about that from FAQ here:
