Initially when I bought the phone, it used to display 6 icons and also calendar entries for today and last 2-3 emails received. For some reasons it has stopped showing the emails header on the panel (standby mode). What could be the reason and how can I fix it. Thanks:con?
Standby Display on E60
Press Menu, , tools, settings, phone, then arrow down to standby mode. then click active standby to on!
You can also alter these to be icons that you use more frequently (this is in active standby apps. A bit further down from the above)
Hope this helps 😊

Steve,
Active standby is on. It shows all icons except the email headers. It is strange because it used to do earlier.
I presume you have refreshed you emails? I just checked mine and there was no icons, when I refreshed they then apeared!
There's a setting in the Messaging app (Options > Settings > somewhere, I don't recall exactly) for showing the inbox on the Active standby screen.
Even if i don't refresh the mails don't display on the screen. They only sit on the mailbox with the rests mails.
Meanwhile I don't see any settings under Messaging , Options, Settings for showing inbox on active standby screen
Its fixed.
Like someone had written, its in Messaging - Options - Settings - Others - Active standby mode.
Thanks for your help folks.
