N 70 charger ?

I have to connect and switch on and off the charger several times before the phone will show the charging bars moving and charging the phone. Anybody any ideas. I wonder if the software is faulty or the charger

Sounds like the voltage isn't quite high enough, i.e. it's marginal. Are you sure you're not using a charger from an older Nokia?

Same happens to me, when I use a charger that cames with 3230, on N70. In fact is an old model...

Is it possible to tell if the charger is old and if I get a new one will it be the old model ?

See in Nokia site the charger compatible with N70. When they are not in compatible list, may work, but could happen a thing like you describes.

i use a charger that came with a 5110 nokia it is old just need the adapter to make it work make ie big plug to small

works a treat
