I know this issue has been discussed here before and it was not possible, but not heard any news for a while.
Does anybody know if this is possible yet, its not for me but a friend of mine has a N80 on orange, but wants to use his Lithuanian sim in the phone when he comes to Lithuania.

He can call Orange customer services and request an Unlock code from them
for �20. He just needs to tell them the phone's IMEI.
While I was an Orange customer I requested an unlock code for an N80 I bought
on eBay and I received it - they don't even seem to check whether the N80 was
issued to you.
Another poster on these forums mentioned this is also possible by buying an
Orange Prepay SIM. Whether that works with N80s that were not issued by
Orange, I don't know...

Ok thanks for advice, my friend contacted Orange and without any problems they have sent him an unlock code that he should get in about 10 days, and it cost him �20

Orange is his network operator, he want to use his UK orange phone with a lithuanian sim card
Pay to the operator. Here, the Orange extension operator, colect +/- 60� for that, I think!

I bought an N80 from ebay and got meself an orange pay as you go simcard. Did the same (calling Orange requesting the unlocking code for 20 quid) and it has been 50 days and I have not heard from them. I have been calling them to find out what happened but all they told me was that the unlock team will get back to me but they never did! TW*TS!
Well i got Nokia Winlock 5, it is supposed to unlock bb5 phones, but i havent been able to make it work

Well i have contacted Orange regarding my n80 and thay was happy to give unlocking code for �20. thay said to wait about a week. its been 3 days.
hope for them best and i will keep you n80 people posted!:icon14:

Flashing wont unlock your phone, it will just upgrade the firmware
im not sending winlock 5 to everybody, u must fill one requiriment
answer me this : Wut its a smartcard and what is it for?
