I had my n80 working fine, I was amazed it would sync with my laptop over bluetooth update my calendar just like I wanted it..
UNTIL - the phone started running slow. SO I performed a reset on the device..
Now I am lucky to get the bluetooth working correclty...yesterday I managed to get it to finally pair up and sync my calendar...today it wont even connect. if I do a search from the phone I can see my laptop (hp compaq nx5000) but if I try and search from the laptop its as though the phone doesnt exist

I know bluetooth is often tempremental, but it sounds to me like it might more be to do with the laptop. Try it with another bluetooth device to see if it does the same thing.
just unplug ur bluetooth from the lap then restart it, connect it to annoter usb port and pair again and it will solve the problem btw restart ur phone too
dont use windows bluetooth software which comes up in XP, it is shit and so unreliable!
i use the independant software that came with my bluetooth dongle (called Blusoliel) and it works everytime, yet the windows thing i can never get to work.

Same opinion! Maybe a drive conflit in PC.
