Hai!!! All

hey i saw on howard forums a guy that is trying to challenge other ppl coders etc to this, there was an aplication named symella here is a brief description

Symella is a Gnutella client for Symbian smartphones. Gnutella is a Peer-to-Peer file sharing network system with many clients (and servers) available on various desktop operating systems http://symella.aut.bme.hu/

it was for S60 and Series 80, this guy is trying to bring it to S60 3rd edition this would be grat here is the link

I really hope this works, as im always connected to a Wlan so this would make my day :icon14:

I am sure I already read somewhere there is a p2p app already for S60 v3, could also be very wrong about that, I will have a quick look and see .

couldnt find anything, I am talking crap 😊..

I do use p2p alot, and I can see as long as you have a big memory card or 2 then it would be quite good for downloading mp3's, as long as you say you are connected to the net for a long time, and of course connected to the mains.

But its probably not something I would use alot because its so easy to download via pc and to transfer to my phone I cant see the point, unless you dont have a pc, or are traveling around the country or the world and want to get access to some new mp3's.

So there is a market for it

is there a website that actually shows any status of the port?
Rather than just an invitation to donate / participate?
Im not dashing the site, just asking 😊

Dont know...its not something that really interests me because I always have a computer near running p2p stuff so for me its not really relevant, I can only see it being usefull for people on the move, or who are travelling and they want to find new music or vids to watch.

And if is download (trafic of data), is more cheap than a phone aplicattion!
