new firmware 4.0623.0.36

Well I just don't believe this firmware exists. I think the first letter on the number is the version. If this is symbian V3 the first number will always be 3 on N80. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Not true - a firmware number will update by firmware version so 4 + could be used.

As someone else said though, this is a fake - it should have the language pack number after the N80

I just found the pic on other forum, thought id post see what people would say, no clue if its real or fake. and yes firmware versions can be v 4.*, wasnt there a
v 1.0608.0.6 when this phone first came out?

This site lists ALL firmware versions on most Nokia handsets....

Im sure it will be updated when a LEGITIMATE new firmware is released.

Vodafone have just sent me ANOTHER handset (8th one now..) and promised it is the *LATEST* firmware.

Its the 3.0617.06 one... which is actually Vodafones latest firmware.

Has anybody uploaded the 18 or 20 one???

that site las time i was there there was a 5.XX version its not a trusted site, anyways the .18 version is only for 3 on australia and there is not 20
