Hmm...not heard that one before Louise, did you have this issue from day one, or did it start happening after a while ?

Do you know what firmware you have, type *#0000#

Maybe a hard reset would correct the problem, but if you do this the phone will revert back to how it was when you first purchased it, so make sure you back up all your settings, music, pics, contacts ect.

Here, everybody talk about of hard reset and format phones... me either. But in fact, after 4 years of use a S60 phone, with diferent phones, with a lot of use and installations, try, and remove of programs, not once, i had made a format. We should try to resolve the things, before format, like we do in general PCs.

The music program is part of the phones software so think you will find you cant uninstall then reinstall it.

Dont forget its only a phone and as long as you back up everything, which should only take a few minutes, its very easy and quick to do a hard reset and restore.

I dont think that too many solutions here suggest a hard reset.

But I take your point, and in the absence of any other solution then I am afraid a reset is all that is left.

The checking mem card tip is a usefull tip though 😊

well actually on normal pc the best thing its a format hahahahaha, when u are full of viruses, spyware, malware so in this case as Cash said its an inbuild program, best solution its a hard reset
