MP3Go

It seems that nobody has tried this prog. It is quiet logical because buying a program without testing before is not a good idea, but if someone has just an idea about the sound quality,.... User posted image

Thanks !

Regards.

Never I will download this program for MP3's unless Nokia will release a 9210 w/c have USB port and hifi stereo speaker. TRANSFERRING LARGE FILES FROM YOUR PC TO YOUR 9210 S U C K S!

Get yourself a USB MMC card reader - believe me it's worth it, even if you don't use MP3's. I can backup my almost full 64Mb MMC in about 3 minutes.

MP3GO isn't all that, it plays MP3s (wow, I have winamp on my laptop), through the rather high quality (for a phone) speaker, or headset (I think). Your output is in mono, and will not be as good as even a laptop with cheap built in speakers (judging by the quality of wavs anyway). Plus they want you to spend $60 for an app that is free for Windoze/Linux/BeOS/MacOS/Atari/Amiga etc.....

A free MP3 player I may invest in, if they find a way to adapt the headset unit to let me use stereo headphones for decent quality.... until then I'll keep my portable MD player.

Is it worth and hassle free? Does the USB MMC card reader reads like the way 9210 reads a memory card?

I really can't justify $60 for a product I can't even test.

Shame.... any news on when Real Player will support MP3 (the web site says the next version will - but no date)?

Not quite sure what your asking here, but I read and write to my MMC with my USB card reader and only once did I have a problem and that was because I took the card out before it finished writing to it. This resulted in a stange file on the MMC that I couldn't delete. To fix this I copied everything of the MMC, formatted it and re-copied everything back all using the MMC Card reader - which means I done it all (55MB) in under 10 minutes.

I think he's referring to the filing system on the MMC, which is standard for all MMCs. Therefore you can swap it between an MP3 player, 9210 (works as an MP3 player for $60 User posted image ), PocketPC (probs plays MP3s for free), and USB MMC reader without having any problems with the filing system.

I dont think so.. just be careful on transferring you MMCard to another MMC slot, my experience was my friend have test to transfer my 9210 64MB MMC to his palmM125 and whala!, my file structures have lost and all of my programs and documents have overwritten by palm.

I never had any trouble using mine card in my friends pocket PC, and he's not had trouble with the same thing between PocketPC and MP3 player, so they seem to be standard. Maybe Palm wanted to be awkward, wouldn't surprise me.
