At the moment I have my N80 set to GSM mode only rather than dual mode. I have been trying to send a picture message and it won't send and just keeps sitting in the outbox and attempting to resend without success. As soon as I put the phone back into dual mode the picture message sent straight away. So my question is this: Is it impossible to send and receive picture messages whilst the phone is in GSM mode only or am I doing something wrong?

Maybe You are in a bad network coverage (3G) area.

I don't have a 3G contract and can send picture messages, so I guess the answer is 'yes'.
mmm. maybe GPRS turns off when u change ur phone to GSM could be a bug
It should not affect it, but in your case it seems it has.
well mine works fine i did test it and seem to work fine on GSM only so might b just firmware version
