How to enable SSL on IMAP?

Good Day fellow M600i owners,

I have a colleague who recently purchased the M600i phone. However, we have difficulty configuring it to send and receive e-mails from the backend Microsoft Exchange 2003.

Our Exchange requires SSL authentication for it's incoming and outgoing e-mails.

How do I enable or workaround this in the M600i phone? Step-by-step procedure is very much appreciated.

...have you installed Exchange for ActiveSync from the SE web site? This will give you the options you need...

Go to the account settings for you e-mail account. Click the "More" button in the bottom right corner to bring up a menu where you then select "Advanced". Here you'll be able to set the port and if you want SSL or TLS.
