hope this is not a really silly ques.sorry.i have installed and loaded the rom and game only thing is the game says press ESC to quit or type OK to continue.am unable to do either am i missing something? lika a keyboard

You have to press the left then right buttons on the center pads in that order
and just mess around with the keypad buttons untill you find what they do
2 usually loads the credits
1 usually starts the game
In galaxians 5 fires the gun and center keypad left and right to move

Have a look here, all these games should I think work, obviously you will have to find them yourself, this is just a list of probable compatable games
well it didnt work with pacman (midway) which was listed, ;[ let me know if any of you had luck, i got contra running (runs like crap but runs), and donkey kong (slight audio glitch, playable), i'l try more later.
Just installed it myself, I've tried a few games, some aren't recognised when searching for roms, Galaxian deffo works, if you press left soft key, you can access the inputs etc. even the dipswitches to turn on infinate lives:icon14:
I'll post shortly what works and what don't.

yea, I dont expect all to work, and there seems to be an issue with the sound on all the games, but I am happy to live with that untill a fix comes along 😊..
all the games I listed in my previous post works, and I think it would be a good idea to list all games that work 😊..
I love all the old games, takes me back to my younger days 😊..

I have a java pacman running on my N80, but its very small because of the screen resolution (its not a mame game)
One place were you can find loads of ROMS. None of these are tested on N80. So dont count me on this for compatibility.

ive tried several games, put them all in the mame/roms folder on the memory card... and it doesnt detect any??
They are in original .zip format from rom site....
any ideas?

did you try any of the roms that work, look at one of my posts at the beginig of this thread with about 5 roms on, I have tried about 20, and 5 of those worked, the others didnt,
Its just trial and error thats why its a good idea to write here which roms you get working.
