Worldmate does not show weather forecast — Nokia Eseries S60 3.0 phones (E50, E60, E62, E61, E61i, E70)

Hi,

I've tried to use the preinstalled worldmate application on my E61 but encountered a really strange problem. It can download and update the currencies just fine but for some reason the weather forecast never show up. When i go to the weather tab and choose "Weather Update" from the menu, it connects to the server (via GPRS), download the updates, updates the database and then closes the connection. It then says "Last update: 17/07/06" (today) so it seems that the update went fine but it doesn't show anything on the screen. All i can see is the message "Select weather update from Options for updated forecast". I've tried to select other cities, reboot the phone and do the update again to no avail. Does anyone have an idea of what's going wrong here?

Nevermind. I had set the date one day too early. After having set the proper date, it started to work properly.

Worldmate just says "showers" for all days this week, yet we have bright sunlight every day!! Useless.

Worldmate goes collected that information from a meterological data base. But a meteo prevision, is not exact science! But, the others weather programs, in PC universe, do the same mistakes. Not often, happily.
