I have been trying for a couple days to solve this problem. Any help or advice would be greatly appriciated. I installed PC Suite version 6.5.16 and am trying to connect my phone to the PC using a USB cord. I selected "cable" from the "Get Connected" page and it just sits there saying "please connect cable. note cable drivers are installed after you plug in the cable. The installation will take some time so please be patient". I left my phone hooked up to the computer like this overnight!!! Also, whenever I plug my phone into the USB cable the windows software installation wizard comes up (recognizing my phone as a Nokia 6682 and Modem) I go through all those steps and click finish and "there was a problem installing hardware" and the windows wizard comes back up. p.s. my phone has the little picture on it that shows it knows it's connected to the USB cable.
Yup, I had the same problem with the cable. However managed to get the Bluetooth working after buying a USB Bluetooth connection. Even that didn't work the first time and only after a reboot. Now seems to work about 90% of the time.
Remove all PCSuite, use a RegClean program, a delete all files related with PCSuite, rebbot PC, and install PCSuite last version. Try again!
Finally!! I got it to work... not sure what the difference was this time. After uninstalling and re-installing software a couple of times it decided to work. Thanks for the help!
PCSuite is always a very capricious aplication!
