MIDI File not playing anymore..

Hi !

First of all I would thank to all of you that your active participation in this forum attracted me to become a member here. Yesterday, I was Installing some themes and appz in my 7610 s60 phone. After Unistallation of some applications, I accidentally deleted a file (can't remember the name) in FExplorer. Everthing, was going well, but after reboot, now I can't view and play the MIDI files inside gallery. They are not even listed in the ringtone list. But the MP3 and WAV files are OK. I resetted the phone to factory settings. Still it didn't proved to be useful.

I am very sad for my favourite Do-mi-so ringtone.

Please Help.

Bikash.

Even though you can't play the files, you will still be able to back them up to your PC so do that, and then do a hard format. The system files will be rewritten and your phone will be back to normal

The method of performing a hard-format, i.e resetting it completely to factory defaults and removing all data, is as follows:

1. Switch off the phone.
2. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (call answer) button, * button, and '3' button
3. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone
4. When the message 'Formatting' appears on the screen, release all of the buttons
