Hey there i am looking to update my N80's firmware but i am unsure witch to go with...
mine is;

v 3.0614.0.3
11-04-2006
RM-92
Nokia N80 (31.02)

from this i gather that it is V02 that i need? if that is correct ill get on my way an update it but if not i dont want to mess up the phone..

well some phones models of firmware are not up to date for example N91
RM-43 V 1.00.028 should be N91 RM-43 V 1.00.030, anyways its pretty useful to have this info, thanks

It depends from country to country, because of languages. But usually is only a metter of days the difference.

Hi all,

I (foolishly) upgraded to 3.0618 a few weeks back. Apart from the crap 3 logo on power up it's no different than 3.0617. Nothing new, nothing disabled, no new bugs, no new features either. Not worth it unless you are on 3 and have older FW.

I don't see why all the fuss about updating Firmware, there are no new updates, after May '06, so stop jumping the gun and getting your handset flashed and destroyed from incorrect updates.Just enjoy your phone.
