last system version check

My 9500 OS version is 4.51. Is there an URL where I can check periodically the last OS version available?

Mine's 5.22(1) but I believe there's a 5.22(7) out. Perhaps someone else can help with your Part 2 answer, though most updates are announced here by someone, I think.

Don't know how reliable or up to date this is but there's a list here... http://www.fonefunshop.co.uk/Unlocking/firmwareupgrade.htm which knows about 5.22(7).

Interestingly, taking the 9500 as a sample, this source doesn't mention the (1) or (7) after 5.22 - I wonder if it's *that* insignificant an upgrade? Must research more...

Thanks folks.

Apparently it's not necessarily recommended to upgrade systematically: better to wait until new releases are tested and approved by unwitting beta testers.

Also, last time I upgraded, my phone was unavailable for more than one month, due to a system crash during update by Nokia service center.
