E61 BES Remote Activation

Does anyone know if the E61 can accept remote activation from a BES server?

I have a user in a different part of the country that wont be able to directly connect to our network, (well they could, but it would be a long trip to just activate a phone).

anyone any ideas?

Just for the record, the answer is no. Remote activation is not possible with BB Connect.

You have to be on the network with the phone physically plugged into the PC (although a VPN should be good enough to still get it working)
